Kolmont Community Church was established in 1925 as a part of the already-existing Sunday School, with 38 charter members.  The congregation quickly grew and, by the late 1940s, the need for a new building was recognized.  A building fund was established, and the cornerstone of our current building was laid on June 7, 1953.  Exactly three years later, the church would be dedicated, debt free!

Several decades later, the church, once again, recognized the need for a larger building.  As a result, after another series of building fund collections, ground was broken on the new addition in July 2005.  This portion of the church dedication, along with the first baptism service, would be held the following February.  The loan on this portion of the building was also paid in full well before the originally planned date.
